What you’ll do:
- Diagnose and repair electrified door systems, operators, and related hardware
- Install, service, and troubleshoot access control systems and automatic door operators
- Perform installation and maintenance on commercial doors and entrance systems
- Independently manage service calls, troubleshooting issues and delivering solutions on-site
- Communicate clearly with the office regarding job status, materials, and parts needs
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites at all times
- Represent Door King with professionalism—delivering a strong customer experience on every job
Skills we are seeking:
- 3-5 years of strong experience with electrified door hardware and access control systems which include but are not limited to:
- Assa Abloy
- Von Duprin
- Accentra
- Mag Locks
- Hands-on experience with low-energy operators and automatic doors
- Solid knowledge of commercial door hardware (closers, panic bars, hinges, etc.)
- Ability to diagnose issues and solve problems independently in the field
- Strong work ethic with a professional, customer-focused approach
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- AAADM Certification a plus but not required
- Real ID and/or valid passport to work in government buildings
